The second annual Wine Tasting and Legacy Scholarship event was held in Cleveland at The Club at Key Center on June 7.
Dr. Kent Glaus, program director of Viticulture and Enology at Kent State Ashtabula, along with students from the program, guided guests through a tasting of some of Ohio’s newest award-winning white wines.
After wine tasting, the Kent State University Alumni Association hosted a silent auction. Items auctioned off during the event included a Josh Cribbs-autographed football, VIP Cleveland Cavaliers tickets, Kent State baskets and more. Brittney Braydich, assistant director of Alumni Relations, said the association raised $1,500 from the auction.
