Kent fireworks display back on

Created on Friday, 06 July 2012 06:00 Hits: 1768The Kent Heritage Festival fireworks display is back on after unexpected rain made dry conditions better, Fire Chief James Williams said. The display will be at 10 p.m. on Saturday.
The fireworks were canceled Tuesday by city officials after State Fire Marshal Larry Flowers issued a statewide Extreme Fire Risk Warning.
