Kent State Police are investigating the burning of four pieces of paper in Prentice Hall, according to a campus alert sent Feb. 18.

“We think it’s students who are getting a little dangerous with their activities,” said Eric Mansfield, university media director. “We believe it’s most likely students pranking each other.”

The alert went on to say the burnings occurred separately over the span of 10 days and resulted in the partial destructions of the papers. No other damage was sustained as a result of this incident.

Police are asking if anyone has any information to please contact Kent State Police at (330)672-3070. To report anonymously use the ThreatLine at www.kent.edu/threatline.
