Kent State named Lisa Strom Women’s Golf coach, after Greg Robertson left his position to become the coach at Oklahoma State University.

Before coming to Kent, Strom was an assistant coach for five-and-a-half years at her alma-mater, Ohio State University. She helped guide the Buckeyes to six straight NCAA Regional appearances and four showings at the NCAA Championships.

Following her job at Ohio State, Strom was the head coach at Texas State University, where she led the team to a program record-breaking 2018-19 season.

Before she began her coaching career, Strom competed for four years at Ohio State, then played for 10 years in the Ladies Professional Golf Association.
