Brian McNeal is representing the Drug Enforcement Administration at Kent State and other Ohio universities for the start of September.
He shares the role of drug prevention and the importance of promoting health and safety for college students.
Their campaign comes after a 2023 report by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration that found that young adults make up 11 percent of over 7.7 million drug-related emergency room visits in the U.S. each year.
Kent State students are encouraged to visit www.campusdrugprevention.gov or Kent State’s Counseling and Psychological Services for any concerns about drug misuse and abuse.
