Kent to celebrate fifth annual BeatleFest

The city’s celebration of the iconic British rock group The Beatles is not over.

The fifth annual BeatleFest will be held Friday, Feb. 23, in downtown Kent.

The event will include free live Beatles music performed by various artists at over 20 establishments, including Ray’s Place, Tree City Coffee & Pastry and Water Street Tavern.

Festivities are scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. on the day of the event and is set to last through midnight.

Some artists set to perform include local artists like Raw Sugar and Revolution Pie, including featured artist Abbey Road.

The Kent Beatlefest is produced by 501c3 Crooked Arts Council, which also produces Kent Blues Fest and Kent American Roots Music Fest, according to the event website.
