Kent State’s volleyball team (5-19 overall, 3-10 Mid-American Conference) lost to Miami (OH) (18-8, 10-3 MAC) in straight sets, 3-0 (24-26, 23-25, 16-25), Friday night.

Senior outside hitter Kelsey Bittinger led the team with nine kills and 15 digs. Sophomore middle blocker Myla King led the team with four blocks.

“We just have to really take a hard look and find a way to get some more points,” coach Don Gromala said. “We’re gonna get to work and try to find it.”
