Kent State senior safety Nate Holley has been suspended after being arrested on alleged charges of first degree felony kidnapping.

The alleged incident took place on Thursday, Nov 3. in Franklin Township A preliminary hearing has been set for Thursday in Ravenna.

“We are aware of the situation and take this matter very seriously,” university spokesman Eric Mansfield said in a statement. “He has been suspended from the team indefinitely.”

Holley — a two-time All-MAC selection — currently leads the Flashes in tackles with 111 on the season. Kent State (3-6, 2-3 Mid-American Conference) plays Western Michigan tomorrow at Dix Stadium.
