Several members of soccer team receive conference honors

Six players from the Kent State soccer team earned Mid-American Conference awards for the 2021 season.
Senior defender Tianna Harris was named the MAC Defensive Player of the Year and was All-MAC First Team. Redshirt senior forward Cameron Shedenhelm and redshirt senior defender Karly Hellstrom were also named All-MAC first team. Shedenhelm led the MAC in goals with 11 and points with 27. Hellstrom led the MAC in assists with 11 and was fourth in points with 21.
Freshman midfielders Siena Stambolich and Alisa Arthur and freshman defender Grace Barresi were named to the MAC All-Freshman Team.
