College Town Kent is set to host the second annual For the Love of Fashion Show at the Kent State University Hotel at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12.

The fashion show will showcase local retail shops by featuring their latest Spring 2016 trends for hair, clothing, accessories and makeup.

The participating retailers include: Gracylane, One Love Yoga Boutique, Carnaby Street Style, UniversiTees and RUSH: Dino Palmieri Salon and Spa.

Tickets are $10, and the first 100 guests will receive a gift bag full of items from the participating retailers. There will also be food tastings from local restaurants open to guests during the event

Tori Tedesco, a promotional consultant for College Town Kent, said each retailer is unique and makes the show exciting for guests.

“It’s been an amazing opportunity to work one-on-one with the locally owned shops and restaurants here at College Town Kent as we plan our second annual fashion show,” Tedesco said. “Each tenant brings exciting and unique ideas to not only the fashions featured during the runway show, but also the planning of the menu for the food stations and the setup of the Mini College Town Kent Boutique.”

The Mini College Town Kent Boutique featuring looks from the runway will be open for guests to shop after the show concludes.

Proceeds from the show will benefit the Alpha Xi Delta-Beta Tau Foundation supporting Autism Speaks.
