The Kent State field hockey team (2-6) scored the most goals it has scored in a single game this season on Sunday after their 5-1 conference win over Longwood University.

The Flashes hope to improve upon last weekend’s win as they look to take on Indiana Friday and Central Michigan Sunday.

“We are going up against another conference opponent so we will be ready for that,” said coach Kathleen Wiler. “We just have to keep fine tuning, keep working on our structure and our discipline.”

Kent State’s only conference loss came from Central Michigan last season when they defeated the Flashes 2-1.

The Flashes are also winless on the road this year and have lost all six on the road games.

The first game is set to begin at 2 p.m. Friday against Indiana and 12 p.m. Sunday against Central Michigan.
