Country performer Hunter Hayes announced on his website last week that he will perform at Kent State on Friday, Oct. 23.

Hayes will come to the university as part of his 21 Tour, a collaborative project with Spotify to find the college markets that listen to his music the most. Kent State was announced as one of the first seven venues he’ll perform at this fall, and 21 total cities will host the country singer as part of the tour. The tour is also to promote his latest EP, “21.” The fan who streams his music the most in each of the 21 locations will receive a free year of Spotify Premium.

According to the website, he’ll also be playing with Ryan Lafferty, a country singer who has played with Luke Bryan, George Strait and Tim McGraw. Ticket information will be released in the coming weeks.
