The Kent State women’s golf team will compete in the three-day Mercedes-Benz Invitational tournament in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Friday.

The Flashes had their best finish of the season at the Schooner Fall Classic in Norman, Oklahoma, earning fourth place while shooting a score of 2-over-par.

“In the last tournament, we came a little bit closer in putting everything together and getting everybody playing well,” Kent State coach Greg Robertson said. “We are going to see some good teams (in the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate), and we are going to get a chance to see how we stack up against them.”

According to the Kent State Athletic Department’s website, Kent State’s lineup for the tournament will be senior Josee Doyon (playing as an individual), senior Natalie Goodson, senior Jennifer Ha, junior Taylor Kim, sophomore Raksha Phadke and sophomore Wad Phaewchimplee.

The Flashes will tee off at 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and at 8:30 a.m. for the final round Sunday.
