AKRON, Ohio (AP) — Another Ohio school district is closing one of its school buildings after learning that the parent of a student had contact with a nurse diagnosed with Ebola.

Akron’s school superintendent says one of its elementary schools will be closed the rest of the week and cleaned over the next few days.

Superintendent David James says it’s strictly a precautionary move being done to calm fears in the community.

He says the parent and child who attends the school are now being quarantined.

Solon City Schools in suburban Cleveland canceled classes in two buildings Thursday after it learned a staff member might have flown on the Frontier Airlines plane on which Dallas nurse Amber Joy Vinson was a passenger.
