The Fashion library will be hosting an open house and welcome event for new international and graduate students Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014 from 3 – 5 p.m.

“The Fashion Library open house is also a welcome to the many international fashion students and for the first time will be welcoming MFASH, the masters of Fashion graduate students,” said Edith Serkownek, associate professor in the libraries of the Fashion School.

This open house will show, “databases, new books and materials, special original designer material from the restricted collections,” said Serkownek.

“Many of the instructors from the Fashion School will be there, as well as people from all over the libraries.

University Libraries and The School of Fashion Design and Merchandising jointly sponsor this event.

Pizza will be provided and there will be an assortment of library giveaways.

The Fashion Library is located on the first floor of Rockwell Hall.
