The College of Journalism and Mass Communication will hold an open forum discussion on terrorism and the role it plays in media-based professions Sept. 10 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the First Energy Auditorium, 340 Franklin Hall.

Faculty representatives from the JMC sequences will be present to share perspectives.

“They are going to be talking about how terrorism has affected each of their industries, which are industries that our students are going into upon graduation,”Director of JMC Thor Wasbotten said.

Due to multiple recent cases of terrorism that directly affect media professions, it is an important time for students to have an open discussion on the matter. The event is open to everyone.
