A recent Kent Roosevelt graduate found himself off the football field and in court.

Tra’von Chapman graduated early to attend the University of Pittsburgh, where he will play football.

But this past weekend, Chapman was back in Kent and found himself in trouble with the law.

He reportedly had an altercation with Dominica Wright, believed to be a girlfriend or an ex-girlfriend – and now, his football career is put on hold.

Chapman is suspended indefinitely, but was not dismissed from the team. His football career at Pittsburgh depends on whether or not Coach Paul Cryst decided to accept Chapman to the team, probably following an internal investigation of sort.
