Bright hues of every shade were seen at The Color Vibe run Saturday, April 27. The event was held at the Summit County Fairgrounds in Tallmadge. The race began at 9:30 a.m. with waves of runners being released every 3 to 5 minutes. Throughout the 5K run, stations of color were placed where volunteers threw color dyes onto the runners. The run was in support of the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. The food bank provides food and other essentials to more than 500 food pantries, hot meal sites, shelters and other hunger-relief programs in eight Northeastern Ohio counties.
