Alumni Center teaches seniors formal dining manners
March 31, 2013
Seniors interested in learning proper dining etiquette are invited to attend the Alumni Center’s Etiquette Dinner from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in room 204 of the Student Center.
John Goehler, senior associate director of University Dining Services, will teach seniors about both social networking and dining standards. Seniors will learn how to hold their plates, give a toast and practice proper table manners.
Carrie Circosta, assistant director of Alumni Relations, said the event was designed to help graduating seniors develop their table manners for professional settings. Business casual attire is required to attend.
Interested students must pay a $10 registration fee, and event attendance is limited to 50 people. Students can register at the Alumni Center’s website www.ksualumni.org.
