Advising, withdrawal, registration deadlines approach

Kent State advisers encourage students to meet with them before checking out for spring break, as withdrawal and registration deadlines get closer.

The final day to withdraw from all spring semester courses is Sunday, and students who decide to withdraw will receive a “W” in the course.

In addition to the upcoming withdrawal date, priority course registration for fall semester begins Thursday for Honors College students, and April 1 for graduate students and students with more than 110 credit hours. Registration opens at 12:01 a.m. on the starting date.

Freshmen and sophomores are required to meet with an adviser before scheduling any fall courses. Freshmen and sophomores who fail to do so will be blocked from registering.

Adviser appointments will be on campus throughout spring break. The online scheduler for adviser appointments shows only two weeks at a time, so students should continue to check for open times if they still need to make appointments.
