The Kent State Board of Trustees met for their quarterly meeting in the executive offices today. A main focus on the agenda was the room and board rate for the upcoming fall semester.

The room rate will increase by 3.89% and the board rate will increase by 3.98%.

Room and board is a self-sustaining operation and is not affected by tuition.

This increase will go towards preserving current housing conditions as well as improving them.
