College of Nursing to host ‘Driving the Future’

Kent State University’s College of Nursing will present “Driving the Future 2013” from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.

The event will take place in the Kent Student Center, though morning sessions will be held in the Kiva.

Kathleen Donchess, marketing coordinator for the College of Nursing, said “Driving the Future 2013” is Kent State’s seventh year involved with the workshop.

Ron Mallett, Ph.D., a theoretical physics professor from the University of Connecticut will be the keynote speaker. Other presenters at the event will include Melody Tankersley, Ph.D, Vincent Hetherington, D.P.M., John West, Ph.D., and Maria Jukic, J.D.
