Andrew Sullivan, world famous political pundit and blogger, will be visiting the Student Multicultural Center Tuesday, in addition to his presentation at Kent State’s Guest of Honor University Artist/Lecture Series.

Sullivan agreed to do a special Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) discussion at the request of Deborah Craig, coordinator of recruitment and scholarships for the Honors College.

“Every time I bring a speaker to campus for the Guest of Honor Series, I like to have an informal session with a student group,” Craig said.

The event will be from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Student Multicultural Center located in the Kent Student Center. This event, unlike the lecture at 6 p.m., will be open dialogue similar to a question and answer format.

“It’s a meet and greet,” Craig said. “Get acquainted and ask him whatever you’d like.”

The series is funded by the Office of the Provost and coordinated by the Honors College. For more information, contact Craig at 330-672-8069 or [email protected].
