‘Handshakes & Mistakes’ workshop to prepare students for Job and Internship Fair
February 18, 2013
Career Services will host “Handshakes & Mistakes” workshops to help students prepare for the upcoming Job and Internship Fair.
The next workshops will be Monday from 4 to 5 p.m. and Wednesday from 4 to 5 p.m., both in the Career Services Center in the Schwartz Center. Students are encouraged to bring their resumes and dress professionally. Registration is not required.
Ryan McNaughton, counselor for career services, said the workshop will teach students ways to best prepare for the Job and Internship Fair.
“[The workshop will cover] how to get your materials together,” McNaughton said. “How to present yourself when you meet employers, and how to do research on companies and why you should do research on companies.”
