Alexx Vaccarello is a sophomore at Kent State University. Throughout her high school career she lost nine classmates and one teacher. She then experienced the death of two students in her first semester at Kent State. This is her story of how picking up the ukulele carried her through anxiety and depression after the loss of so many young lives.
