Cameras monitor activity level at Rec
October 2, 2012
The Student Recreation and Wellness Center’s new Activity Level Cameras allow students to see what is going on at the Rec from their own computers.
The Undergraduate Student Government introduced the idea, requesting that there be some way for students to check and see how occupied the Rec is before deciding to work out.
Abby Millsaps, marketing coordinator for the Department of Recreational Services, said when the Rec gets busy, the cameras allow students to see if there are any open treadmills or basketball courts.
