November Craft Nights begin Thursday

Kent State students are invited to craft with the Center for Student Involvement every Thursday in November until Thanksgiving.

Craft Night is hosted in The Nest, located on the second floor of the Kent State Student Center, on the first three Thursdays of November from 7:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and offers an opportunity to craft something different each week.

Sariya Winters, graduate assistant for the Center of Student Involvement, said Craft Night gives students the chance to craft in their own creative way.

All supplies and materials are provided, but students are invited to bring their own materials, Winters said. Two members of the programming event staff for the Center of Student Involvement will attend each Craft Night to assist students with their crafts.

At the first Craft Night on Nov. 1, students will make mirror collage and picture clips.

The second Craft Night takes place Nov. 8 and offers students the chance to make scarves and bracelets from T-shirts.

The final Craft Night on Nov. 15 will offer students the chance to decorate picture frames.
