7.2 million Tweets were sent during the 90-minute presidential debate, Tuesday evening. Closing in on specific issues, 28 percent of the Tweets were sent while the two candidates spoke about the economy. The taxes topic racked in 17 percent of Tweets; foreign policy had 16 percent of the Tweets, 13 percent were about the environment, and 8 percent discussed immigration. With so many Tweets, TV2 Reporter Hallie Schmidt decided to see if Kent State students were part of the 7.2 million Tweeters.
