Last weekend the Kent State Field Hockey team split their last two home games of the season. A 6-4 win against Ball State, and a 4-2 loss against the Top 25 ranked Michigan State Spartans. This weekend the Flashes will be on the road traveling to Missouri State on Friday and then at Iowa on Saturday.

While the Flashes have had success against the MAC this season with a 2-1 conference record, but away from friendly Kent, Ohio, the Flashes are a rough 0-7. This will play an important role if the Flashes want to finish the season with a MAC championship.

The Flashes are currently in a four way tie with Central Michigan, Miami (OH) and Ohio and with the last three games being on the road the Flashes will have to prove they can win on the road.

TV2 Sports caught up with Head Coach Kathleen Wiler, Junior Rebecca Lee and Sophomore Jahna Jordan to hear their thoughts on the upcoming road games, why they are the best in the MAC and how playing on two different turfs will effect the game.
