The Kent Interhall Council (KIC) is hosting a ‘Get Fit Fair featuring Zumba Fitness’ event today in Centennial Green 2 to inform students on how to stay fit throughout the year and avoid the “Freshmen 15.”

The fair, which is free, runs from 3:30-6 p.m. and will have information from various clubs and organizations including the Kent State Ice Skating Club, Flash Fleet, the Kent State Dining Services and Green Dragon Kung-Fu. The event is co-sponsored by the Kent State Student Recreation and Wellness Center.

The Zumba fitness event will run from 4-6 p.m. and cost $5. Zumba involves combining dance and aerobic elements to a variety of upbeat music for a different type of workout.
