The College of Communication and Information will celebrate its 10th anniversary beginning in July.

The college, which includes the School of Communication Studies, the School of Library and Information Science, the School of Journalism and Mass Communication and the School of Visual Communication Design, grew out of the College of Fine and Professional Arts.

“We are working with the Tannery, which is a student-operated marketing and communications firm, to implement a media campaign around the 10th anniversary,” said Jennifer Kramer, the director of public relations and marketing for the College of Communication and Information. “Our schools are also marking some significant anniversaries themselves.”

The School of Communication Studies will be celebrating its 80th anniversary this summer, along with the School of Journalism and Mass Communication celebrating its 75th anniversary and the School of Visual Communication Design celebrating its 10th anniversary.
