One person is dead after an early morning shooting in Chardon.

Geauga County Sheriff’s Lt. John Hiscox confirmed the coroner was called to the scene and said Chardon Police are handling the report. Sheriff’s deputies also responded to the scene to assist police.

Chardon Police haven’t released any details.
