Are you an avid gamer or a student who likes to win prizes?

Ubisoft is holding a competition this month amongst its 32 represented universities in honor of March Madness. In order to participate, students need to log on to Facebook and like the Kent State Ubisoft page.

Every Friday, the results are tallied, and if the page has a higher growth in likes than other schools it is up against, Kent State advances to the next round in a bracket style tournament.

If Kent State wins the tournament, one random student who participated will win $500 cash. Another student from one of the participating schools will also be randomly selected to win $500.

After each round, every university that advances will also have one member selected at random to win a prize. The prizes range from Ubisoft apparel and Amazon gift cards to a free Ubisoft game of the winner’s choice.

Andy Parina, junior art education major, said any student interested in video games should participate.

“Free stuff for little work is always good,” Parina said.

Kent State has already advanced into the second round of the tournament with a near 11 percent growth in likes. Those who like the page by Friday will add to the growth and further the chances of moving to the next round.
