Kent State University launched a new billboard campaign.

The bold $100,000 billboard reading, “Kent State. #1 in college graduates in Northeast Ohio,” has started popping up in the area. The university hopes the hard fact will inspire students to choose Kent State for their college education.

Vice President for University Relations Iris Harvey discussed the significance of the campaign.

Harvey, also, says supplying necessary resources to students and faculty has increased the university’s success. The marketing department released the campaign now in order to get ahead of increased advertising prices anticipated for the 2012 election.
