Kent State’s Career Services Department provides students with about eight thousand on-campus jobs per year. Student jobs range from working at a dining location to giving out parking tickets. With unemployment rates going up, many students are wondering if the economy is causing on-campus employers to limit their job openings. Associate Director of Career Services Ami Hollis confirmed that the employment rates at Kent State have remained steady for the past ten years.
