Downtown construction means the addition of new businesses.

Wild Earth Outifitters, an outdoor retail supply store, is coming to Kent as part of the Acorn Alley II project.

The new store will bring to the Kent area some of the most popular outdoor brands, like North Face.

Store owner Tim Nightengale says this is his first location and Kent was ideal for his shop.

Nightengale says Wild Earth Outfitters will be open by the end of the month, and students can expect sale events for its opening week.
