Fashion show to showcase century-old styles

A fashion “flashback” will fill the Student Center Hub Friday in a vintage fashion show at 1 p.m.

The show, called Flashback for its styles from the 1880s to the 1950s, is free for those who wish to attend. A variety of garments will be modeled — one even designed by Shannon Rogers, a founder of the School of Fashion Design and Merchandising in 1983.

“It’s going to be something really different,” said Allison Trombetta, senior fashion merchandising major and one of ten students organizing the show. “We want students to be like, ‘What the hell is happening?’ and after they see it, think that it was really cool. I promise it won’t be normal.”
