Preserving the voices of WWII

The greatest generation is in its twilight. More than 900 World War II veterans die each day. Their reasons for going to war are as different as their backgrounds.

But their duty was simple: defend the world from tyranny.

For many veterans, the war is a faint memory locked in the time capsules of their minds.

The men and women who served in World War II are the face of American valor, bravery and honor.

No one will forget World War II, but the veterans’ voices, if not preserved, will be forgotten.
