The roof of a one-story Twin Lakes house caught fire Sunday afternoon after workers placed a tarp over a flood light, causing an electrical fire.
Kent Fire Capt. John Tosko said the fire caused around $5,000 in damage to the single-family home on state Route 43.
The house is valued at $101,500, according to information from the Portage County Auditor’s Office.
Tosko said the fire began at about 1:25 p.m. and lasted about 15 minutes. The residents were able to return to their house. No one was injured.
