Works of art by Kent State alumni from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s will be on display at the School of Art Gallery through October 1.

The exhibit, “Centennial Alumni Exhibition: Firsts,” coincides with Kent State’s centennial celebration and features the work of 35 alumni from the School of Art and the School of Visual Communication Design.

It is the first of two centennial exhibits at the School of Art Gallery this academic year. The second, planned for January 2011, will feature works from alumni who graduated in the 1990s and 2000s.

As always, the School of Art Gallery is free to enter and located on the second floor of the art building. The hours are Tuesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
