Kent State’s School of Library and Information Science named Dr. Don Wicks as the new interim director for the school.

Wicks, a faculty member since 1999, served as an assistant professor at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, and as a lecturer at the University of Western Ontario.

Wicks earned a Ph.D. in library and information science in 1997 from the University of Western Ontario, a Master of Biblical Studies from Heritage Theological Seminary in 1991, an M.A. in history from University of Guelph in 1971 and a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Winnipeg in 1969.
