Rock, paper, scissors is traditionally reserved for breaking ties or killing boredom, but the brothers of Sigma Nu have transformed it into a competitive sport.

The fraternity will host its second rock, paper, scissors tournament for charity Tuesday, and members are inviting anybody interested to join.

“It’s a $2 entry fee,” said fraternity president Matt Fabinak. “We will also have a raffle with $1 raffle tickets.”

Fabinak said the fraternity will donate a portion of all proceeds to Kappa Alpha Psi’s toy drive.

Participants can expect a bracket-style competition with fast-paced games.

“You don’t need to reserve a spot,” Fabinak said. “Just show up to the house. Anyone and everyone is welcome to play.”

The event will be at Sigma Nu’s house, located behind the Power Plant on Summit Street. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the competition begins at 8 p.m.
