Uniquely Yours Boutique offers many gift ideas and products with a local feel.

This gift shop has been open since 2007 and was previously on S. Mantua Street, but it needed relocated because of the construction to Crain Avenue bridge, and now will open closer to campus.

The store offers gifts for people of all ages, said Sylvia Milton, the boutique’s owner.

“I want students to come stop by and take a look.” She said. “I offer things that babies to grandparents would love and still keep the local area in mind.”

Uniquely Yours Boutique is now featuring local artists and vendors to bring in a more unique local feel to the store. Kent State gear, tie-dye shirts and local-made jewelry will be new additions

Uniquely Yours Boutique is not open yet, but Milton said she hopes it will open by October. She said she is just waiting for the building to be done, but if students walk down Main Street, they can see the brand new signs for Uniquely Yours Boutique.

“I hope we can appeal to every age group,” Milton said. “I believe this location will be so much better for everyone.”
