Field Hockey team loses 2-0 to the Golden Bears

The Kent State field hockey team fell to California 2-0 at Maxwell Family Field in Berkeley today.

California sophomore Jessica Kreck powered the Golden Bears’ offense, scoring both of the team’s goals. Kreck took four shots on the day, three of which were on goal.

The Flashes took nine shots, including four shots on goal, but could not beat California sophomore Goalkeeper Maddie Hand.

Kent State finishes its three-game west coast swing with a game against Stanford tomorrow. The Flashes opened the road trip with a 3-1 win over Pacific on Thursday.
