Two men arrested for burglary in Kent have dates in court

Two of the five men arrested April 10 for aggravated burglary have been given a court date.

Johnathan Tinsley, 18, is to appear for a pre-trial at 2 p.m. on June 5 and is to appear before a jury at 9 a.m. on June 9.

Christopher Lucas, 19, a student at Kent State, is to appear for a pre-trial at 11 a.m. on June 11 and is to appear before a jury at 9 a.m. on June 16.

Police arrested Tinsley and Lucas along with three others after breaking into a house at the 400 block of East Main Street in Kent. The five men allegedly attempted to steal electronics and clothing from the home.

One of the occupants woke up and called police who arrived soon after.

The three other men do not have a trial date set.
