Students celebrate being part of Greeks

This year’s Greek Week – themed “The Fabulous Life of Greeks” – kicks off today.

The week-long series of events is organized by Pan-Hellenic and Interfraternal Council.

Members of the Greek community are paired off into teams and earn points for their participation in events.

&bull Monday, April 13: Speaker David Stollman’s “Buy In or Get Out!” 8 p.m. Student Center Ballroom

&bull Tuesday, April 14: Blood Drive noon to 7 p.m. Student Center Room 204 and Trivia Challenge 8:00 p.m. Bowman Hall Room 133

&bull Wednesday, April 15: Blood Drive noon to 7 p.m. Student Center Room 204

Greek Idol ($1 or one canned food item) 7 p.m. Michael Schwartz Center

&bull Thursday, April 16: Greek Karaoke 9-11p.m. Rathskeller

&bull Friday, April 17: All Greek Barbeque and Tailgate Tournament 5-8 p.m. Fraternity Circle

&bull Saturday, April 18: Community Service River Cleanup 1-5 p.m.

Downtown Kent and Stompfest, which is a step show ($20 day of show admission) 5 p.m. Student Center Ballroom

&bull Sunday, April 19: Greek Games 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Multipurpose Gym
