Disney College Program

The Disney College program is a semester-long internship that has positions for all majors. Students can apply for internships in either Orlando, Fla. for Walt Disney World Resort or the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif. Possible job areas include vacation planner, character attendant, hospitality and merchandise. While working a paid internship, students can attend classes at Disney College and earn up to nine credit hours.

CIA

This internship is for undergraduates interested in working for the CIA. Students work with highly-skilled professionals and experience the role the CIA plays in supporting U.S. officials who make foreign policy. Interns are required to work two 90-day summer internships or a combination of one semester and one summer internship.

National Park Service

The National Park Service offers an internship at Santa Monica Mountains National Recreational Area. Gaining real world job experience in a particular field of study is what this focuses on. Internships are offered in many areas, including Botany, Geographic Information Systems, Wildlife Biology, Native Plant Nursery and Park Ranger.

Late Show with David Letterman

Interested in a career involving television? “The Late Show with David Letterman” is a great way to make contacts in the television industry. Any major is welcome to apply to one of the following departments: Research, Talent, Production, Writers, Writers’ Production and Music. This internship program is non-paying but is a networking opportunity located in New York City.
