The nine Undergraduate Student Government directors met for 15 minutes in public and about a half hour in executive session yesterday.

Executive Director Jonathan Bey said he called for the session about 10 minutes into the meeting because of a personnel issue within USG.

“Once I’ve had a chance to talk to everyone involved privately, then it will be made public,” he said.

According to USG bylaws, meetings are open to the public, but USG can call an executive session to discuss USG member terms of employment, contractual agreements, security arrangements, pending or imminent court action, property sales or purchases and matters required to be kept confidential by law.

Prior to the executive session, Bey said the new USG Web site is now running.

Director of Programming Michael Szabo said he is working with Judy Ripple, business manager for the Center of Student Involvement, to determine the proceeds of last week’s concert.
