Homecoming court announced

Jenn Yokley

Online voting runs Oct. 8 -10

The honor of Homecoming King and Queen is much more than wearing a glamorous crown and a charming smile. When searching for the perfect court, candidates are quizzed with Kent State trivia and asked a series of questions about themselves.

The nominations were made, the interviews were conducted, and the Homecoming committee has made its decision. Crowning of the new king and queen will take place during halftime of the Homecoming game October 11. Voting for king and queen begins Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 8 a.m. and continues through Friday, Oct. 10 at noon. Students can vote online by using their Flashline accounts. The Homecoming football game against Ohio starts Oct.11 at 2:30 p.m.
