Students flooded the Music Listening Center yesterday looking for posters to decorate their new rooms.

The poster sale will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday in the Music Listening Center on the second floor of the Student Center.

Gabriel Arroyo, sales associate for Pyramid America, said that the posters and prices are the same as previous years.

“The prices range from $6 to $15 dollars depending on size,” he said. “You can also get postcards for $1 a card.”

Arroyo said this year’s poster selection includes music, sports, photography, art and actors.

Arroyo said that each year Pyramid America comes to Kent State with $100,000 worth of posters.

This year, he said the Batman posters seem to be the hit.

“They’re selling off the market,” he said.

Erica Harper, junior hospitality management major, said the poster sale is very helpful in terms of variety and price.

“I was on a Web site to buy posters, and they definitely have the same variety,” she said. “The prices could get a little high, but $7 a poster is good for a nice size.”

Harper said that the poster sale is convenient for decorating her new apartment, and the wide selection allows her to find posters that will fit her needs.

Rachel Ward, senior business management major, agreed that the poster sale has a wide variety.

“I like a lot of the scenery and music posters that they have,” she said. “I found the exact poster that I wanted.”
